Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and SHADOW Milk™ Cookie Flavor. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in Malt-O-Meal™ cereal.
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use a thermometer to ensure accurate oven temperature. Cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
