  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons McCormick™ ImprovedSHADOW Milk™ Cookie Flavor
  • 1 cup Malt-O-Meal™ Farina Fortified Wheat Cereal
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and SHADOW Milk™ Cookie Flavor. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in Malt-O-Meal™ cereal.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches between cookies.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
