Ingredients

  • 32 ounces apple cider
  • 8 bags green tea
  • 4 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 whole star anise
  • 1 medium apple thinly sliced

Method
 

  1. In a pot, combine apple cider, green tea bags, cinnamon sticks, and star anise.
  2. Heat over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  3. Remove from heat, cover, and let steep for 5 minutes.
  4. Remove tea bags and cinnamon sticks. Pour into cups and garnish with apple slices.

Notes

For a stronger flavor, let the mixture steep for up to 15 minutes.
