Method
 

Step 1: Preparing the Ingredients
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  3. Slice the garlic bread into 12-14 sticks.
Step 2: Preparing the Cheese Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, olive oil, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Mix well until a smooth paste forms.
Step 3: Assembling the Mummies
  1. Spread a thin layer of the cheese mixture onto each garlic bread stick, leaving a small section at the top bare for the bandages.
  2. Place the garlic bread sticks onto the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4: Adding the Details
  1. Slice the black olives in half lengthwise, then slice each half into quarters to create small olive 'eyes'.
  2. Place two olive slices onto each garlic bread stick for the eyes.
  3. Tear the fresh basil leaves into thin strips to create the 'bandages'.
  4. Wrap each garlic bread stick with the basil strips, leaving some of the cheese mixture visible for the mummy's face.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes or until warmed through.
