  • 0.5 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons water

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cayenne pepper, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter, cheddar cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, and mustard on medium speed until smooth, about 2 minutes.
  4. With the mixer on low speed, gradually add the flour mixture and water, mixing just until combined.
  5. Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, about 1 inch apart.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  7. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
