Method
 

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Peel and devein the shrimp, mince the garlic, chop the parsley, and zest and juice the lemon.
  2. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions for al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Cook the shrimp: Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and cook until fragrant.
