- Gather your ingredients. If using a cauldron mold, have it ready.
- In a saucepan, combine the hot chocolate mix, milk, and water. Heat over medium heat, whisking occasionally, until hot and steaming but not boiling.
- Pour the hot chocolate into your mugs. If using a cauldron mold, carefully pour the hot chocolate into the mold, then place the mug over the mold to create a cauldron-shaped hot chocolate.
- Top with marshmallows, whipped cream, and sprinkles. Serve immediately.
Notes
Be careful not to let the hot chocolate boil, as this can cause the milk to curdle. If using a cauldron mold, be sure to let the hot chocolate cool slightly before pouring, to prevent the mold from melting.
