  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.333 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup butter, cold and cubed

Method
 

Step 1: Preparing the Ingredients
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel, core, and slice the apples. Toss them with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, cranberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
Step 2: Cooking the Main Components
  1. In another bowl, combine the oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients. Using a fork, cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Transfer the fruit mixture to your baking dish. Spread it out evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the fruit.
