Preparation
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry to 0.125-inch thickness.
- In a bowl, combine grated cheese, sliced apples, caramelized onions, and thyme.
Assembly
- Cut pastry into 2-inch squares.
- Place a small spoonful of apple-cheese mixture onto each square.
- Brush edges with water, fold into triangles, and press to seal.
- Place bundles seam-side down on prepared baking sheet.
Baking
- Brush tops with honey and sprinkle with pecans (if using).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
Store leftover bundles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (180°C) for 10-15 minutes, or until heated through.
